OUR MISSION

To honor fallen women service members an create a National memorial and veteran center that fosters connection, empowerment, and well- being through inclusive programs for Veterans, families, and the broader community.

project timeline & Fundraising Goals

We are actively working towards a groundbreaking in the Spring of 2026, making the next year critical for fundraising efforts. Our focus is on securing donations to ensure this vision becomes a reality. Additionally, we plan to sell our current property on Main St. in Strykersville to add to the funding of this project.

Our total fundraising goal is approximately $5 million, including donations and grants to cover the costs of construction, programming, and operational sustainability.

Objectives & Potential Services

Our Vision is to establish a state- of -the-Art facility that serves as both a Memorial and a thriving community hub, offering a wide arrange of programs and services tailored to Veterans, their families, and the broader community. This facility will

  • Honor the legacy of Cari Anne Gasiewicz and all women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our Nation through a National Memorial

  • Provide veteran support services, including workshops, peer mentoring, and counseling.

  • Foster a welcoming environment with social events, recreational activities, and cultural programs that encourage community engagement.

  • Host educational initiatives, such as workshops, seminars, and leadership development programs.

  • Offer essential support, including a food pantry and resource distribution for Veterans in need.

  • Serve as a venue for public events, fundraisers, and community gatherings.

  • Collaborate with organizations, businesses, and government agencies to maximize impact and resource availability.

  • ensure long term sustainability through effective management, fundraising effort, and community partnerships

the women of Valor memorial, Veterans center, and community hub is planned on a 9 acre site in Strykersville, NY, a rural community in Wyoming County. The Broader region encompasses a significant number of residents

Wyoming County has a population of approximately 40,531 people

the establishment of this center in Strykersville is crucial, as it will provide essential services and support to Veterans in the Area, addressing the unique challenges faced by rural Veterans. By offering a dedicated space for Veterans and the community, the center aims to enhance the well being and quality of life for all residents
